Fear Factory are bringing their Cybernetic Domination tour to Australia and New Zealand this May.
The industrial metal pioneers are embarking on their first full Australian headlining run in 10 years, hitting eight cities across both countries.
For New Zealand fans, it’s an even longer wait — the band haven’t played there since 2012. The tour celebrates 35 years of Fear Factory, a milestone that seemed unlikely at various points but has been a source of huge relief.

For the uninitiated, Fear Factory essentially wrote the industrial metal playbook in the early 90s. That machine-gun riff style, the clean-to-harsh vocal switch, the dystopian sci-fi concept albums — half the metal bands you love learned it from these guys. They’ve sold over a million albums in the US alone and played Ozzfest four times.
The band have also just finished tracking their 11th studio album, the first to feature Silvestro on vocals, due out later this year.
