They’ll be bringing their New Orleans funk Down Under.
Put on your dancing shoes because New Orleans born hip-hop, jazz and funk outfit Hot 8 Brass Band are heading to Australia this year for a national tour.
After almost 25 years of spreading their sound around the world, Hot 8 Brass Band are showing no signs of throwing in the towel. Following last year’s release of their new single ‘Give Me The Night’, the ensemble are set to head Down Under to unleash their unwavering energy on Australian fans.
Famed for their traumatic past which has seen the band lose four of its original members to illness and violence, in addition to struggling through Hurricane Katrina, Hot 8 Brass Band have made it their mission to spread joy and give back to the community of New Orleans. This fervent passion has catapulted the band onto the global stage where they’ve remained ever since.
The forthcoming six-date tour will see the Hot 8 Brass Band hitting the stage in Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide across February and March this year.
