Beer InCider reveals lineup for Melbourne debut

The Brisbane-born festival is making its way south.

Since its inception in 2014, Beer InCider has been a regular feature of the Brisbane festival circuit, offering live music, craft beer and cider. Past instalments have seen the likes of The Smith Street Band, Ballpark Music, The Jungle Giants, Cub Sport and British India taking to the stage, so it’s about time Melbourne got on board.

For the first time, Beer InCider will hit Victoria for a tailormade Melbourne experience. In its debut down south, the festival will be headlined by Australian rock royalty Something For Kate and indie-rock favourites DMAs, alongside a juicy lineup featuring Alex The Astronaut, WAAX, West Thebarton and Loser.

In addition to the festival’s music lineup, Beer InCider have also revealed which brewers will be pouring up a storm for the occasion. Highlights include Collingwood’s Fixation Brewing, Newtown legends Young Henrys, Brisbane-based Green Beacon Brewing Co., and Fremantle’s Gage Road Brewing Co. Not only will you be treated to all your favourite craft beers and ciders, but there will be a selection of one of a kind exclu-brews designed especially for the event. In past years, exclu-brews have seen some seriously tasty concoctions and creative collaborations, so make sure you come thirsty.

General admission tickets will include an environmentally friendly reusable cup and free public transport to and from the event, but if you’re feeling extra lavish you can get your hands on VIP tix for private toilets, access to the VIP bar, your own personal rider and special access to the best vantage points during performances.
