All three members of HIVE Park are long-time residents of Melbourne, and the differences of their experience all contribute to the band’s unique style.
Their distinct sound is known for containing an elemental mix of genres, with an essence of blues-rock, bluegrass, pop, rock and funk. With a combo of rock riffs, pared-back folk and lush violin, things we should have said… is a work of honesty, sensitivity and lyrical purity.
“I’m really happy to finally be able to share these songs with everyone,” vocalist Cassie Serpell says. “They’ve come from my personal experiences, which I expect are universal.”
