The non-profit behind the operation has already sent out half a million kits to those in need, including Victorian communities impacted by tragic bushfires and floods and those in countries such as Ukraine, the Phillipines and Sri Lanka.

Volunteers will be provided with all of the equipment necessary, including gloves, hair ties and all of the ingredients. There’s no experience necessary – all you have to do is show up and start scooping.

The Rotary Club raises all of the money for the FORaMEAL ingredients themselves and then buys them from local suppliers. Once the meals are packed, they’ll be shipped off to those who need them most.
