Queensland's Kevin Paviani is bringing his signature hard techno and hard bounce sound to Stamina, joined by local selector Dugi for a night at the faster end of the dial.

Paviani has played Stamina before, so Melbourne’s harder rooms are already familiar territory; and this time he’s back with a proper bill behind him.

He’s is no stranger to big stages; the Queensland-based DJ and producer has landed two bookings at Ultra Music Festival, which puts him firmly in the upper tier of hard dance talent coming out of the north.

Beyond the festival circuit, he’s been a driving force behind Nexus, one of Queensland’s most reliable club nights, keeping the harder sounds moving up there for a solid run.

Dugi rounds out the bill with credentials that speak for themselves in Melbourne’s harder rooms. His recent production work landed on a Teletech release and got a feature on Rikso’s latest AP, and his sets have been making their way through the faster end of local programming with increasing regularity.

Between Paviani’s interstate profile and Dugi’s embedded position in the local scene, the lineup covers both ends of the hard dance spectrum — international reach meeting Melbourne floor knowledge.

If you’ve been hunting for something heavier on the weekend agenda, this one at Stamina is worth pencilling in.
