Novel presents Guy Contact at Sub Club on Friday, 18 July, bringing the Perth-based producer to Melbourne for an intimate headline performance. The announcement coincides with Novel’s presentation of the Interval x Chameleon Takeover featuring Steve Ward’s live performance on Friday, 20 June at Glamorama. Ward, a boundary-pushing techno artist since the early 2000s, emerges from retirement for this rare live set after years out of the spotlight. His legendary collaborations include work with Carl Cox, Nile Rodgers and DJ Pierre, while his influence extends through Chameleon Records.
Novel’s programming continues to showcase both emerging and established electronic artists, with upcoming events including the sold-out Intercell with 999999999 on 13 September and smalltown featuring KiNK, Nene H and Rødhad on 12 October. The promoter’s calendar extends to the A3 Festival 2025, scheduled from 28 November to 1 December.
