Hailing from Newtown, Sydney, Young Henrys is a brewing company that has made astronomical leaps into the bellies of beer drinkers all across Australia. Since crafting their first brews in the March of 2012, Young Henrys has stuck with their admirable principles of low-impact, environmentally-friendly beer brewing, so you can feel good about yourself while you enjoy a pint In addition to that, they make a range of tasty beers from Berliner weisse, to Irish red ale and Vienna lager. Melbourne’s Good Beer Week has encouraged Young Henrys to demonstrate their wares in Collingwood’s own Bendigo Hotel for one special evening on Friday May 19. Frothy Upper Lip will see the Bendigo putting on a free BBQ with a Young Henrys bar shout from 5pm. Young Henrys pints and tinnies will be on special all night. In addition to the ample supply of thirst quenchers, Hydromedusa, Horsehunter, Geld, Flour, Grim Rhythm and more are set to get you going. Frothy Upper Lip goes down at the Bendigo Hotel on Friday May 19 from 5pm, with the band room doors opening at 7pm and the music kicking off from 7.30pm. Get your tickets from the Good Beer Week website for $17, or $20 on the night at the door.
