The Post Office Hotel together with Coburg Brewing Co are sizzling up their very own Good Beer Week BBQ Bonanza. Make your way into Coburg’s classic and stylish old-school pub in a way you’ve never seen it before. It’ll be different from the usual Post Office Sunday roast and textbook parma as this beer and barbeque bonanza will feature sneak peek dishes from the upcoming menu from Coburg Brewing Co’s next big adventure – the launch of Coburg Brewing Co at the infamous Pentridge Prison site. It will also feature a custom made 1.5 metre wood-fired grill, which will be manned by chef Robert Aparo, set to showcase a modern Australian barbeque. Rob hails from some of Melbourne’s best gastro pubs – The Station Hotel, Wayside Inn & Albert Park Hotel – and if you’re looking for anything related to meat – Rob’s got to be your go-to guy. You can expect the menu and craft beer selection to be a match made in heaven with a heavy focus on any and everything that can be chargrilled to perfection. Tickets are 50 bucks and you’ll get two full courses and matching beers to suit. It’s happening Saturday May 13 from 12pm-3pm.
