Now in its 11th year, the 2011 Globe to Globe Festival sounds suspiciously like the best one yet with music from every corner of the world being featured. Everyone is getting in on the act; France, Greece, Africa, Bulgaria, Iraq, Ethiopia, Russia, Hawaii, Romania and Latin America, to name just a few.
Not only will there be sinfully beautiful music, there will also be workshops for the dancers and craftsmen within us, plus plenty of multicultural cuisine to sample. For the kids – and the adults who can’t contain themselves – there will also be plenty of rides and amusements.
Entry to this fabulous event is $2. Saturday January 22 from 12 noon to 10pm and Sunday January 23 from 12 noon to 6pm.
