Fresh from dropping their surprise new album, Sketches of Brunswick East, King Gizz have revealed the lineup for their namesake festival.
The Melbourne event features more than 45 bands getting together complimented with immersive visuals and ten stages curated by venues, labels and underground institutions.
As well as King Gizz performing themselves, there’ll also be Kikagaku Moyo heading over from Japan, La Luz and Mile High Club from the US, Aussie punks The Murlocs, psych force ORB, Leah Senior, and Parsnip.
Further highlights include Clever Austin, HTMLflowers, Jaala vs Man, Superfeather, Vulture St Tape Gang, Suss Cunts, Hi-Tec Emotions, Pleather Purrs, Hexdebt, Loose Tooth, Lazer Tits, Stiff Richards, Closet Straights, Bitch Diesel, and Private Function, with more still to be added.
Stages will be curated by a selection of tastemakers including Wondercore Island, Hysterical Records, The Curtin, The Tote, Aarght Records, Motown Records, and Flightless.
And the best part of all? By the time we reach Gizzfest, the band will have released two more new albums as they work towards fulfilling their promise of releasing five records this year.
