George Maple will be touring Australia in February 2018 to celebrate her debut album Lover. The outstanding, sultry and fascinating live show is travelling to Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth featuring her hit songs from her new album such as Sticks and Horses, Kryptonite, Hero and title track Lover. Maple will take over 170 Russell on Wednesday February 21.
Her album, Lover, details a series of intimate events. Written over 2 years in various places around the world, Lovers is fierce but fractured and features rappers Goldlink and Rome Fortune. The album captures the beauty and vulnerability of human intimacy.
George Maple has been known to play many roles and cope with many scars, from femme fatale to disco diva and fierce heroine. Lover has been described as the crossing of Maple’s imaginary and reality as it exaggerates Maple’s own observations and experiences.
Maple’s insistence on her artistic integrity has given her the reputation of one of Australia’s most respected female artists.
