The tour announcement comes hand in hand with the highly anticipated release of his sophomore album, STRUGGLER, set to drop on August 18. The inclusion of EARTHGANG as special guests adds another layer of excitement to these already highly anticipated concerts. Hailing from Atlanta, EARTHGANG has made a name for themselves in the hip-hop scene, earning Grammy nominations for their exceptional work on Dreamville and J.Cole’s Revenge Of The Dreamers III.

STRUGGLER delves into the chaos and absurdity of life and our innate ability to persevere. Building upon the themes explored in his critically acclaimed debut album, Smiling With No Teeth, Owusu addresses the struggle and triumph over adversity. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences and literary works such as Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot and Franz Kafka’s Metamorphosis, Owusu takes listeners on a captivating sonic journey. Collaborating with a range of talented producers including Jason Evigan, Mikey Freedom Hart, Sol Was, and the original producers Andrew Klippel and Dave Hammer, the album seamlessly blends musical genres and showcases Owusu’s artistic growth.
