The tour coincides with the July release of 360’s fifth studio album, Out Of The Blue, his first full-length record since 2017’s Vintage Modern. Fans got their first taste of the new material with the recent drop of new single Save My Soul, featuring old-school beats and showcasing the rapper switching between sharp verses and melodic choruses.
“It’s been really exciting to start releasing new music,” shares 360. “I’ve spent most of my career releasing albums whilst struggling with mental health issues and addiction, so to be in a healthy and happy place whilst putting this out has been exhilarating. I’ve finally let go of the need for others approval, where it used to dictate how I would operate in every aspect of my life. It’s very liberating.”
The announcement follows 360’s successful return to live performance in 2023 with his Back To Life regional tour, which saw the first half of shows sell out completely.
Reflecting on his upcoming album, 360 describes it as “an amalgamation of all my older music, but with new influences, but much more refined and polished. I couldn’t have done this without Tyron Hapi, having him to write these songs with me has been such a blessing. My new album Out Of The Blue is out this July, plus The Forthwrite Podcast is coming soon too, I can’t wait for people to check that out also.”
360 first burst onto the scene in 2008 with What You See Is What You Get, but it was 2011’s Falling & Flying that catapulted him to mainstream success. The double-platinum album reached #4 on the ARIA charts and scored him two ARIA Awards in 2012.
For fans eager to get tickets early, presale begins Thursday 20 March at 9am local time, with general tickets available from Friday 21 March.
“I’m so keen to be back touring in general,” 360 adds, “but to have PEZ with me on the Out Of The Blue Tour feels special too. We’ve reconnected so much over the last year or two and the fans will be able to see that. Expect a lot of energy and also for the live show to tell a bit of a story of my life.”
