Spellbound: A Night of Magic & Grand Illusion, March 5
Hosted by one of Australia’s best known magic-makers, Anthony Street brings awe and amazement to Melbourne’s eastern suburbs for one night only in new show Spellbound. Promising death-defying escapes, levitations, and impossible vanishing acts, Anthony Street brings his edgy performance style to one of the oldest performing art forms, for a night that’s sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, March 8
Celebrated Australian tenor Paul Ettore Tabone brings an International Tribute to the Musicals of Andrew Lloyd Webber, performing works of the legendary theatre composer. Joined onstage by soprano Lyla Schillert and musical maestro Glenn Amer, audiences are promised a stellar showcase of musical theatre favourites from beloved Broadway hits such as Evita, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as other favourites of the stage such as Jersey Boys and The Sound of Music.
Underground Cabaret – Drew Downing & Band, March 14
Heralded as a “cabaret rockstar” by Melbourne’s Joy FM, lauded musician and entertainer Drew Downing is serving a night of jazz standards and 90s hits for his Underground Cabaret show. With a roster of performances under his belt including the Melbourne Cabaret Festival and Midsumma Carnival, Downing is sure to bring audiences a feel-good performance that will get their feet stamping and toes tapping.
THE WET by Circa Cairns, March 15
A new First Nations-led circus ensemble of Far North Queensland, Circa Cairns is the performing arts troupe that has been created in response to the soil and limitless storylines of the damp, dramatic Cairns landscape. Drawing from the ancient stories of the wet tropical region, new show THE WET promises acrobatic thrills as well as a captivating exploration of what connects us to land and shared history of place.

Promising audiences a “bloody” good time, new stage parody Evil Dead: The Musical takes every element of the cult comedy-horror film series and crams it all into one crazed singalong. A special perk for fans of grisly gore is the designated Splatter Zone, in which the first two rows of the audience will be covered in fake blood – ponchos provided for protection!

Political comedy institution The Wharf Revue is coming to an onstage end this year, after a quarter-century of politician pisstakes and light-hearted jabs at this country’s best(?) and brightest leaders. Expect parodies and impressions of Albo, Dutton, Julia, and many other “favourites”.
Melbourne International Comedy Festival, April 30
On the road for an amazing 27th year, Australia’s best-known comedy roadshow is touching down at The Round. Hosted by Tom Ballard, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is set to offer a night of laughs and belly-cramping giggles this year with a host of headliners including Alex Ward, Janty Blair, and Con Coutis.
Dave Thornton: Nothing’s Unpossible, May 31
Following the smash-hit success of his 2024 festival show, comedian Dave Thornton is taking Nothing’s Unpossible across Australia to give you a red-hot hour of unbeatable comedy.
