There's a free day concert going down at Flagstaff Gardens on January 26 featuring some Victorian music royalty.
Braithwaite, the Pierce Brothers, Darlinghurst and more will lead the show, which will happen at Flagstaff Gardens and be free for everyone.
It’s part of the government’s January 26 public holiday events, with family-friendly entertainment and free food also offered at Fed Square, with kids shows taking the stage, while the Roulettes provide a spectacular flyover and aerial display overhead.

Elsewhere in the city, the official flag raising ceremony and Australia Day reception at government house this year will honour frontline workers, with many expected to be in attendance.
However the events will be limited, firstly by the controversial nature of the date among many Australians, signifying the arrival of the First Fleet and subsequent atrocities committed by the British against First Nations people. In reflection of this, Share The Spirit music and arts festival will be taking place on January 26 at Sidney Myer Music Bowl, with a First Nations lineup.
Then also across the state by massive staff shortages due to COVID isolation requirements, as well as newly imposed restrictions implementing density restrictions on indoor venues, and closing indoor dancefloors entirely.
“Australia Day is a day for telling our story, for recognising the contributions of extraordinary Victorians and for acknowledging our strength as a community – this program is delivering a wide range of events where we can do just that,” Premier Daniel Andrews said.
“We recognise and celebrate the traditional custodians of our land and aspire to celebrate our nation in ways that respect our First Nations peoples as part of our ongoing work on self-determination and Treaty in Victoria.”
