Mr. Industry leads free Monday night showcase

Social Sanctuary returns with another killer lineup for its free Monday night series, headlined by the genre-bending Mr. Industry. The group has developed a reputation for their sonic extremes, with savage noise giving way to moments of jazzy musicality.

They’ll be joined by Red Moon Cowboy, whose sound draws inspiration from Nick Cave and Jeff Buckley while blending post-punk attitude with folk storytelling. Opening the night is Billy Cart, a five-piece Naarm outfit known for their DIY punk energy and raw, instinctual approach to songwriting.

The Mountain Goat-sponsored event also features $20 chicken and eggplant parmas and $10 pints, making it the perfect antidote to the Monday blues.
