After a massive 2024 that saw him drop three singles and tour extensively through the UK and Europe, EV is ready to bring his bass-heavy sound to intimate venues across the country.
The former lorry mechanic has crafted a unique sound blending UK garage, rap and progressive dance, drawing inspiration from artists like The Streets, Example and Bicep. His 2024 EP Sirens chronicled British working class culture, from its opening track Friday Nights through to the comedown anthem Come Down.
“Music has always been an escapism for me, and writing about UK weekend culture is something I’ve lived and those around me relate to,” says EV, who worked 60-hour weeks as a mechanic in his early twenties.
His recent success has seen Friday Nights named BBC Radio 1’s introducing track of the week, while English Lad with Ben Gerrans went viral on TikTok, landing on Spotify’s Viral 50 charts across Europe and scoring spots on New Music Friday playlists in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Sweden and Germany.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday February 12 at 12pm local time, with My Live Nation members accessing a pre-sale from Monday February 10 at 1pm.
