This Fitzroy backyard party shines a light on Melbourne's amazing brewing scene.

Get ready to experience a bubbling concoction of music, gastronomic delights, and a symphony of flavours at this FIZZ: the festival of fermentation happening at Odd Culture on Sunday, March 17th.

This day-long extravaganza promises an immersive journey into the realms of wild and farmhouse brewing, natural wine and local sake, all set against the backdrop of pulsating beats and lively conversations.

At the heart of the FIZZ are the pioneers and leaders in the craft beverage industry, including the likes of Ashley Huntington from Two Metre Tall, Casey Grieve from Sobremesa Fermentary & Blendery, and the artisans from La Sirène Brewing and Melbourne Sake.

These experts will be on hand to tantalize your taste buds with their unique creations and share insights into their craft, with tastings and market stalls to shop from.

On arrival, guests will be treated to a ‘fermented dirty martini’ made in collaboration with Four Pillars distillery. The day’s exclusive cocktail menu will be curated by the illustrious Nick Tesar, Creative Director of Gin Drinks at Four Pillars.

Kayla Saito from the Mulberry Group will also be stirring up some magic on the sticks, ensuring your thirst is quenched and your spirits lifted throughout the day.

But it’s not just about the drinks. Michelin star chef Tom Sarafian will be at the helm of the grills, dishing out his signature blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning palate.

Bands and DJs will be keeping the vibes right all day, with live music echoing out across the courtyard.
