Joined by his band of brothers including Joseph on the keys, Roy on percussion and Regi on guitar, The Wooten Brothers are set to grace the stage over late May and early June. The band are incredibly tightly wound.

Being brothers, they grew up playing music together. With inspiration from such acts as The Temptations and Curtis Mayfield, they’ve garnered their inspiration from the golden age of soul, jazz, and bluegrass.

Not only was he gaining inspiration from Curtis Mayfield, he was also sharing the stage with him. At the age of six, he was on tour supporting the singer-songwriter with his brothers. Soon enough, he was sharing the stage with the likes of Stephanie Mills, Ramsey Lewis, and The Temptations. He was known from thereon as 8-year-old Bass Ace.

He’s a teacher, author, acrobat, and magician – if you didn’t think his bass playing was magic enough. The Idaho-born prodigy is also a father of four children and a husband.

Due to demand, two shows were added to the bill for Melbourne. For more information and ticketing, visit here.
