Fierce Mild take their cinematic experience to new heights with ‘Want It To End’

Imagine if you were to combine expansive art rock with a Lynchian dreamscape, all provided by some funky-haired, bearded, Fitzroy-looking musos – this is a Fierce Mild concert. Fierce Mild pride themselves on creating a cinematic experience at every performance, and explore audio spaciality as a means to immerse the audience fully into whatever exhibition of talent and experimentation Fierce Mild enacts.

Want It To End is a 20-minute experience that stimulates the touch, taste, and smell of the two people experiencing it at a time. Fierce Mild will play live while you watch a film by Stephanie Peters, in which you are the protagonist guided by a “mysterious man through a virtual dystopian rural Australian landscape.” In other words, it will blow your socks off. The soundtrack is an extended cut of previously unreleased ‘Lost Highway’ – a sing to be released as part of their upcoming album.

As a result of the visual and aural components, Fierce Mild expects you to experience the full gamut of emotions; from awe, to isolation, to confusion. Overall, the band wants to add another dimension to their music while simultaneously making you question what music really is. Simple, really.
