Working it from 9 to 5.
Faux Mo, Mona Foma’s massive club party, has just dropped its 2020 lineup, featuring an impressive slate of acts from near and far.
Faux Mo 2020 is inspired by none other than queen of country music Dolly Parton, with the party running from 9(pm) to 5(am). What’s more, punters can expect a journey through the Dollyverse from cabaret singer Simone Page-Jones, in addition to a gang of Jolenes made up of Madhanit, Claire Anne Taylor and the Faux Mo Queens, among others.
Headlining next year’s Faux Mo party is Lisbon ghetto DJ Marfox, who’ll be bringing a swathe of soulful, African-influenced dance music to Launceston. Rounding out the bill are Queens electro-classical producer Eartheater, Ugandan-based DJ Kampire, Jamaican club legend Tygapaw, video artist David Henery Nobody Jr and plenty more star-studded acts.
If you commit to partying until the early hours of the morning, be sure not to miss the mouthwatering breakfast and hot coffee at 4am.
