New Zealand dub virtousos Fat Freddy’s Drop have just been announced as the headline act of bombastic summer festival, The Pleasure Garden.

Captivating audiences in its inaugural year, The Pleasure Garden is going one better in 2017, kicking off with an outrageous first announce.

Joining everyone’s favourite stage funksters comes bass royalty, hip hop grandeur, pop sublime and more. REMI and Montaigne start things off. Having both captured the hearts of audiences around the country in recent years, the fresh faces will confound and excite.

On top of that, bass juggernaut Opiuo will be joined by foremost producer Stickybuds, important hip hop voice L-Fresh The Lion as well as Chant Down Sound, MoodMachine, Thankyou City, JPS, Willaris. K, 8 Foot Felix, Lickweed, Rachel By The Stream, Monkee & C:1 & Dyzlexic, Mz Rizk and Mama Wonkita – with even more yet to be announced.

2017 will also see the addition of two new stages – Bass Station, featuring bass, dub and more on the specially created Heartical HiPowa Soundsystem. The House Party stage is the other dance residence and expect it to be heaving with all the best electronica.
