One of the defining bands of the ’90s has resurfaced. Evanescence first emerged with their stellar debut album Fallen – My ImmortalBring Me to Life and Everybody’s Fool catapulting the American outfit to great heights.

Now they’ve got new music. Set for release on Friday November 10, Synthesis is their most ambitious work to date. In a radical effort, the LP features a reworking of some of the band’s best-loved songs, lathered with a full orchestra and Amy Lee’s virtuosic piano and voice.

The album will feature two new tracks, Imperfection and Hi-Lo. Lee is especially proud of Imperfection, explaining, “I struggled with the lyrics for a long time because there was a lifetime of work to live up to and I wasn’t sure what to say or how to be good enough. When it finally started pouring out of me, it was undeniable.”

Coinciding with the new album is news of an Australian tour. The formal announcement is coming but in the meantime, fans can sign up to receive all the deets first and go in the waitlist. On top of that, fans who pre-order the album will receive exclusive ‘First Access’ to the east coast dates and the best seats in the house.
