Evanescence will the heading around the country with Australia’s finest symphony orchestras in support of their fourth release, Synthesis, a record that sees the group revisit old material with lush orchestral arrangements coupled with immersive electronics.
“I wanted to combine that classical, orchestral world and the electronic programming — both those sides have been in our music before, but this is making it all about those two extreme parts,” said Evanescence mainstay Amy Lee to news.com.au.
One of the defining bands of the ’90s, Evanescence first emerged with their stellar debut album Fallen –My Immortal, Bring Me to Life and Everybody’s Fool catapulting the American outfit to great heights.
