Europa! Europa, Australia’s film festival celebrating the world’s best new European films returns to Sydney and Melbourne in 2024.
Expect three weeks of prestige European cinema and entertaining Australian premiere screenings, live music and special events.

The 2024 Europa! Europa program will be revealed at a special Australian Premiere screening of Matteo Garrone’s new epic Io Capitano on Thursday 18 January at Lido Cinemas Hawthorn and Ritz Cinemas Randwick.
Italy’s submission for the Best International Feature Film Academy Award and Winner of the Silver Lion for Best Director in Venice, Io Capitano follows the spellbinding odyssey of two teenagers, who decide to leave their home in Senegal and journey across the ocean to Europe in search of fame and fortune.
