Empire of the Sun are packing up the Ask That God: Afterlife Tour for a six-stop lap of Australia and New Zealand in early 2027.
Empire of the Sun are returning to Australia and New Zealand in 2027 for the biggest tour of their career.
The six-date run closes out the Ask That God: Afterlife chapter, and it stands as the largest tour Empire of the Sun have brought to the region so far.

Fans across both countries last caught the act on the road in 2024, and this next stage rebuilds the show around the costumes, colour and surreal staging the live production is known for. The Afterlife instalment stretches the world of their most recent record into something bigger again.
The run opens across the Tasman before working its way around the country, calling in Brisbane, Sydney and a Melbourne date at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, then wrapping with an Adelaide stop and a Perth homecoming.
The project has travelled a long way since Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore released debut album Walking On A Dream, the record that turned its title track and We Are The People into festival mainstays.
Records Ice on the Dune and Two Vines came next, along with slots at Coachella, Glastonbury and Lollapalooza, before an eight-year gap between studio albums ended with 2024’s Ask That God and singles including Changes, Music on the Radio and Cherry Blossom.
The pair trade in a euphoric strain of electronic pop, and the reach is hard to argue with: more than five million albums sold, six billion streams and eight ARIA Awards, with the current world tour already past 400,000 tickets.
Frontier members get first dibs from 16 September at 1pm local time, with general tickets landing 18 September at 2pm local time.
