Emma Donovan’s musical journey began at the tender age of seven, performing alongside her family in the Donovans. Recognised for her exceptional talent, she further honed her skills at the Eora College of Performing Arts. Today, Emma Donovan stands as a tried and true performer who effortlessly captivates audiences, moving them with her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence.

Teaming up with the incredibly talented Putbacks in 2014, Emma Donovan delivered their debut release, Dawn, which garnered accolades as the Best Indigenous Act and Best Soul, Funk, RnB, and Gospel Album at the Victoria Music Awards. When Emma and The Putbacks come together, their musical synergy is palpable.

This highly anticipated performance is part of Hobsons Bay’s Arts At Your Doorstep program, an annual initiative by the Hobsons Bay City Council that brings exceptional performing arts to the community’s cultural venues. In collaboration with local government, regional, and national touring bodies, this program ensures that residents of the west have access to the best of Australian performance.
