Melbourne comedian Emma Holland is set to embark on a five-city national tour with her new show Don't Touch My Trinkets, bringing her unique blend of stand-up and visual arts to major festivals across Australia.

The multi-disciplinary performer, who has made waves as both a collage artist and photographer alongside her comedy career, will kick off the tour at Adelaide Fringe Festival in February before hitting comedy festivals in Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

Holland’s latest show invites audiences into what she describes as her personal gallery of treasures and wares, complete with strict viewing conditions: no touching, no oversized bags, no fountain pens, and absolutely no flash photography – unless she looks particularly good.

“Let me take you on a tour through my personal gallery, there’s all kinds of treasures and wares. No touching, no oversized bags, no fountain pens and no flash photography (unless I look really good),” says Holland.

The announcement follows a breakthrough year for Holland, who has become a regular fixture on Australian television. Her quick wit has earned her recurring spots on Have You Been Paying Attention, Thank God You’re Here, and 7Days, while also stepping into the host chair for multiple episodes of The Cheap Seats.

Behind the scenes, Holland has been flexing her writing muscles across numerous productions, including The Cheap Seats, Have You Been Paying Attention, Taskmaster S5, and major industry events like the AACTAs and Logies.

The Age has praised Holland’s ability to subvert audience expectations, awarding her previous work four stars, while comedy bible Chortle dubbed her performances “sparkling with wit” and “a real delight.”

Tickets for Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney shows are now on sale. Brisbane dates will be available through the My Live Nation presale from 10am AEST on Thursday 23 January, with general release following at 10am AEST on Friday 24 January.
