Dreamy new track Until June gets the full live treatment in Brunswick.
effe will celebrate her new single Until June with a headline show at Bergy Bandroom on Friday 27 June.
Until June marks the second single from the Melbourne-based artist and expands on her distinct brand of brooding, cinematic pop. Produced in collaboration with Joe Agius (known for work with Hatchie and RINSE), the track draws on dreamy guitars, hazy synths and low-lit percussion to create a sound that’s both emotionally raw and sonically lush.

The single explores themes of longing, memory and release, guided by effe’s breathy, intimate vocal delivery. It’s a natural follow-up to her debut and suggests an artist settling into a confident and cohesive aesthetic. While steeped in melancholia, the track never wallows—each element feels carefully placed, building a world of late-night introspection and restrained intensity.
To mark the release, effe will take to the stage at Bergy Bandroom in Brunswick with support from fellow femme-led acts Flossy and Second Skin. The launch show is set to showcase not only the new single but the carefully built atmosphere that surrounds it. Fans of layered production, emotionally-driven songwriting and slow-burning live sets should find plenty to connect with.
