Inspired by her upbringing in northernmost suburbs of Canberra, Belco Pride paints the landscape of Belconnen, and explores the notion that “you never truly leave behind the place you grew up” in. Through candid family portraits and stark juxtaposition, Grant delves into the dichotomy of her life. Accompanying the exhibition, Grant will host an artist talk and book signing on Saturday June 15 at 2pm.
