The Immersive Arts Festival aims to be engaging and interactive, enticing community members to get involved with the diverse range of artforms showcased across the festival. Due West will host exhibitions, installations, workshops, and performances created by local individuals and organisations.

Aimed at the creative community within Melbourne’s inner west suburbs, the festival sees the City of Maribyrong partnering up with The Victorian Government through Creative Victoria. The festival kicks off on Thursday August 10, with the festival’s opening weekend surrounding music celebration with a huge lineup of artists performing at the Footscray Community Arts Centre.

The 18 day festival will also showcase events such as a local artist turning a home on Footscray’s Moore Street into an audio-visual exhibition and an interactive performance by local theatre company Wit Incorporated. The festival will involve free and ticketed events.
