Dora Jar is coming to Melbourne in September

Dora Jar

She's also appearing as the special guest on select Billie Eilish 'Happier Than Ever Tour' performances.

Touring Australia for the very first time, the 24-year old, New York born, Californian raised artist will perform at The Lansdowne, Sydney on Thursday September 15 and The Toff, Melbourne on Wednesday September 21. Dora will also be touring the country as special guest on Billie Eilish Happier Than Ever, The World Tour, performing at select Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne shows.

Having already supported Billie on several international dates, the pop musician needs little introduction to Eilish fans.  An artist who refuses to be defined, Dora Jar has released, what can only be described as distinctive, endlessly fascinating and quite frankly, brilliant songs. Singles include the hammering guitars on ‘Multiply’, the ominous ‘Did I Get It Wrong’ and latest single ‘Bumblebee’, which all exemplify an artist with a clear artistic vision: to be expansive, honest and unequivocally herself as is humanly possible.

At 24-years-old, the singer-songwriter is opening arenas for Billie Eilish, scored co-signs from Charli XCX and Grimes, received high praise from acclaimed pop artist Remi Wolf and had the tick of approval from Sir Elton John when he played her trippy 90’s-tinged ‘Scab Song’ single on his Rocket Hour show, lifted from her beaming EP Comfortably In Pain.
