It seems that 2012 will be a colossal year for the band, with an extensive Australian tour (including their own headline shows, festivals and their first ever concert at the Sydney Opera House) as well as their first record since 2005’s brilliant Cinder.
Due to the three members of the group – Warren Ellis, Mick Turner and Jim White – living in different parts of the world for the majority of the year, experiencing Dirty Three live is a rare opportunity, as this is their first Australian tour since 2009 alongside their one-off appearance at last year’s Meredith.
