Dermot Kennedy is heading back to Australia and New Zealand this November for a run of arena shows.
Kennedy confirmed the eight dates today, kicking off on 14 November at Perth’s Kings Park and Botanic Garden and wrapping up on 28 November at Auckland’s Spark Arena. The tour follows his appearance at MISNEACH Festival in Sydney last year and arrives alongside his third studio album The Weight of the Woods, released through Interscope Records.
The record made Kennedy the first Irish solo artist to land three consecutive number one debut albums on the UK chart. It was largely written and recorded near his home in rural Ireland with collaborator Gabe Simon, who has also worked with Noah Kahan and Lana Del Rey. Tracks from the album include Funeral, Honest and Refuge.
