The Sydney-based artist continues riding the wave of the global soul revival with his distinctive blend of classic soul and modern r&b influences. Don West has established himself as one of Australia’s most compelling new voices in contemporary soul music, drawing critical recognition and building a loyal fanbase across the country and internationally.
Don West’s debut nationwide tour, presented by Live Nation and triple j, kicks off at Torquay Hotel before heading to four festival performances at Spilt Milk and headline shows in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. The tour follows the artist’s successful international shows already announced across the UK, Europe and the USA, cementing his reputation as a must-see live performer.

Known for his rich vocals, heartfelt songwriting and electrifying live performances, Don West draws inspiration from soul legends like Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield while incorporating contemporary influences from artists such as Jalen Ngonda and Thee Sacred Souls. This combination creates a fresh yet timeless sound that has captured audiences both domestically and internationally.
The artist’s debut EP, released in November 2024, introduced key tracks including Small Change and Friends, both earning international acclaim. Building on that momentum, Don West opened 2025 with the release of Send It Back, marking a bold statement of artistic direction as he prepares for his debut album release.
