Dan Kelly returns with an ode to his AWOL girlfriend. She’s on an island and he doesn’t like it. Ultimately, it’s still kind of tinny, and there are no genuine blues to speak of, lyrically or musically, but I guess this is just what Dan Kelly sounds like. If you love his airy, glib, smirking pop, you’ll probably love this.
