The Brian Jonestown Massacre bring their cult psychedelic drone experience back to Australia and New Zealand next March.
Cult psych collective The Brian Jonestown Massacre return under the singular vision of Anton Newcombe, delivering back catalogue highlights alongside deeper album cuts and revelations from their 20+ album evolution. Fresh from blazing trails across Europe and the US including a Glastonbury highlight set, the band continues evolving in real time within live settings.
Programming spans decades-deep cult cuts alongside newer material from 2023’s Your Future Is Your Past and current singles Makes Me Great and Out of Body. Long-time conspirators Joel Gion and Ricky Maymi join Newcombe for performances that exist to spite zeitgeist whims, instead inhabiting deep psychedelic territory fortified by guitar drone, psychedelic pulsation and experimental shoegaze textures.
