GLORYHAMMER TOUR THIS WEEK!
UK Heroic Fantasy Power Metal band Gloryhammer will be touring Australia for the first time ever in just over two weeks’ time with special guests LagerStein. Gloryhammer is a new project formed by Christoper Bowes, the mastermind behind pirate-metal sensation Alestorm. They’re at The Espy on Saturday April 19, and The Barwon Club Hotel in Geelong on Monday April 21.
SKID ROW & UGLY KID JOE
Ugly Kid Joe and Skid Row are touring in late April with the awesome Dead City Ruins, who are also serving as the support for the European tour. They’ll be at the Palace Theatre on Friday April 25. Guthrie’s Melbourne appearance will be on Sunday July 27 at Gas Works Theatre, 11.30am.

The mighty Morbid Angel are here soon to perform their death metal classic Covenant album in its entirety. The Acacia Strain are heading back to Australia to demonstrate their bone crushing rhythms, apocalyptic samples and triple guitar assault that combined, delivers their signature blend of hardcore, death and doom. Armed with two new members and lyrics centred around misanthropy and nihilism, with some misogyny and sexual deviance thrown in for good measure, you know a night with these guys is most definitely going to be completely heavy! The tour features Queensland punishers Aversions Crown, Wollongong heavy hitters Graves and local supports; in Melbourne’s case this means Exposures opening for the show at Bangon Saturday April 26, and Free World and Left For Wolves for the all-ages showat Arrow On Swanston on Sunday April 27.
