The tour kicks off tonight at South Morang’s Plenty Ranges Arts & Convention Centre before continuing to Wodonga tomorrow. Spanning nearly two months, the roadshow will visit 18 regional centres, giving Victorians everywhere the opportunity to experience the festival’s signature humour without travelling to Melbourne.
Comedy enthusiasts can catch performances at iconic venues including Ballarat’s Her Majesty’s Theatre, The Story House at Geelong Arts Centre, and Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre. The tour also reaches coastal towns like Cowes and Portland, plus northern locations such as Mildura and Echuca.
While Melbourne hosts the main festival for three weeks each autumn, the roadshow ensures regional Victorians don’t miss out on the laughs. The touring format has become a beloved fixture on the cultural calendar for many country towns.
