Cold Chisel announce ‘Blood Moon’ east coast tour dates

Better let your dad know.

Rock icons Cold Chisel have just announced a string of east coast dates for their Blood Moon tour, set to kick off in early January next year.

The Aussie rockers will make their way to a handful of wineries and estates in regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland as part of A Day On The Green. Cold Chisel have also said new music is on the way, so punters might be treated to something fresh by the time the gig rolls around. Since their Last Stand tour back in ’83, they’ve only reunited for four national circuits.

“We’ve only done four tours since the early ’80s so we need to make each of them count,” Barnesy said.

“We knew that if we were going to get the band back together for another full tour it would have to be something really special. We wanted great lineups and unusual places so that people would remember these gigs for a long, long time.”

If Cold Chisel alone won’t win you over, they’ll also be rocking out with Paul Kelly, Magic Dirt, The Detonators and Birds of Tokyo across a number of their tour stops.

Check out Cold Chisel’s Blood Moon tour dates below:

Tuesday January 7 — All Saints Estate, Rutherglen VIC (w/ Birds of Tokyo and Magic Dirt)
