On Care, CLAMM say they’re exploring the confusion of what it is to be a young person trying to live an honourable life in this fucked-up world. New album Care is bigger, louder and darker than previous album Beseech Me (2020). CLAMM recorded any moment they could during 2021 in the most locked down city in the world, tracking at Rolling Stock and Sound Park Studios with Nao Anzai (NO ZU, Cash Savage, Rolling Blackouts).

Care‘s first single Bit Much came out in April, and second single Monday in June. They have been playlisted on Double J and Unearthed, thrashed by community radio, had BBC 6 Music, Radio 1, KEXP and Apple Music airplay. Beseech Me was a Triple R and FBI Radio feature album. Originally released by the band on cassette, it was reissued on vinyl by UK label Meat Machine (home to Canadian art-punk provocateurs Crack Cloud), which saw CLAMM earn 2021 best punk nods from Spin, Bandcamp Daily and KEXP.

In Australia the band has played with Wolf Alice, Amyl & the Sniffers, the Chats and the Murlocs, and played Boogie, Melbourne Music Week and Meadow. After their Australian leg, they’ll be embarking on a European tour taking in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
