Have a new music business idea, want to test a prototype or conduct more research? City of Melbourne’s small music business grants and business event sponsorship applications may be the kickstart you need.
Helping passionate, innovative small businesses reach their goals, the grants look to nurture Melbourne’s thriving creative community with funding of up to $30,000 for small business start-ups.
If you’ve already got an established business and are looking to take things to the next level or extend your reach, there are also grants available to aid in Expansion and Export.
All you need to be eligible is a great idea and a strong business proposal, with applications open from Monday February 17. The council will help you out with development, start-up, expansion and exportation. Don’t dawdle on your brainstorming though, you’ve only got a month to get your applications in.
