The hit immersive magic show Maho Magic Bar is making its Melbourne comeback this November with new magicians, fresh illusions and premium Japanese cocktails at the brand new Spiegel Haus venue.
After stunning audiences in 2023, the intimate experience transports punters straight into a neon-lit Tokyo night where Japan’s sleight-of-hand specialists perform exclusive shows right at your table. The Melbourne lineup features both returning favourites with new tricks and completely new faces, each bringing their own repertoire of jaw-dropping illusions that put a contemporary spin on magic traditions dating back to Japan’s Edo period. Audiences get to witness these masters at work from point-blank range in the bespoke space where every sense gets stimulated.
The show takes up residency at Spiegel Haus Melbourne, a spectacular two-level entertainment precinct in the heart of the city featuring multiple performance venues and a rooftop bar. Running from 25 November 2025 through 15 February 2026, tickets start from $71 plus booking fees, with a carefully curated menu of premium Japanese alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails available throughout the experience.

The major new entertainment precinct will feature a 380-seat Belgian spiegeltent, alongside a 400-seat black box theatre designed for theatre, comedy and live music performances. Spiegel Haus Melbourne also includes a 200-seat circus tent and a 100-seat dome space for more intimate shows, creating diverse options for different types of entertainment.
An open-air activation area will host outdoor performances, art installations and community events, while a rooftop bar and lounge creates an integrated entertainment destination where patrons can attend performances and socialise in the same location. The precinct will accommodate up to 1000 patrons across its multiple venues during the nine-month season.
Opening night on 29 October will showcase Blanc de Blanc Encore, an internationally acclaimed cabaret and circus production featuring champagne service alongside acrobatic performances. The show will run for three months in the spiegeltent, marking the first major production for the new venue.
Construction and fit-out of the venues is expected to begin in coming weeks, with the precinct scheduled to operate through winter 2026 before the site returns to its original use. The development has been created in partnership with the City of Melbourne and various arts organisations.
Additional programming for Spiegel Haus Melbourne will be announced closer to the October opening date. The precinct aims to establish Melbourne as a destination for diverse entertainment formats, bringing together circus, theatre, comedy and live music in one concentrated cultural zone.
This represents one of the largest temporary entertainment installations in Melbourne’s recent history, positioned to become a significant drawcard for both local audiences and visitors to the city.
