As the shortest night of the year fast approaches, the Firelight Festival will ignite Docklands with its three blazing nights of fire pits, light installations, live music, and more from June 30 to July 2. The beats of African rhythms, New Orleans-style percussion, and high-energy disco will set the stage for an incredible night of music. Catch bands such as Lolo Lovina, Sugar Fed Leopards, Zona 7, Brotha Asanti & Soulectric and more while DJ Mz.Rizk keeps the party going with hot tunes throughout the night.
As you step into the festival grounds, you’ll find yourself immersed in a sea of captivating light installations. Two new additions, Trumpet Flowers and Shrooms, will transport you into a world of vibrant colours and enchanting sounds.
Of course, fire takes center stage at this festival. Marvel at the mesmerizing fire sculptures, drums, jets, and cauldrons that grace every corner. The entire event is a tribute to the power and beauty of fire, creating a truly immersive and awe-inspiring atmosphere.
Firelight Festival also offers a diverse range of pop-up entertainment, including fire performers, roving brass bands, Bollywood dancers, and hip-hop acts.
In addition to the vibrant performances, Firelight Festival also showcases the art of storytelling. Listen to Em Chandler and Roslyn Quin as they transport you to mystical worlds through their tales of dark nights, kind acts, and mythical creatures.
The festival opens its doors from 5 pm to 10:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 5 pm to 10 pm on Sunday. With a packed schedule of entertainment, you’ll want to make the most of every moment.
