Meat Loaf, the moniker of Michael Lee Aday, was one of the great legends of late 70s and 80s rock. With his Bat Out of Hell trilogy, which included Bat Out Of Hell, Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell and Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose, having sold more than 100 million records worldwide, stayed on the charts for nine years and is still one of the all-time best selling albums.
He’s had some notable credits in the film world as well: along with a role in the iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show as Eddie, he’s also appeared as Robert Paulson in Fight Club and in the Broadway musical of Hair, which kicked off his career in the 70s.
After a life of rock and roll, he unfortunately passed away earlier this year.
For Crying Out Loud … it all goes down on February 15 at the Palais Theatre. Secure your tickets by heading here.
