The dazzling avant-pop star will be headlining dates in Australia for the first time ever this December.
Caroline Polachek has announced dates for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane – her debut headlining performances in the country.
Already revealed as a headliner of the iconic Meredith Music Festival alongside Kraftwerk, Alex G and Alvvways, she’ll be bringing her otherworldly brand of ethereal pop to three intimate Australian venues.

After building a buzz in the New York indie sleaze scene with her previous project, Chairlift, Caroline Polacheck reemerged with appearances on Danny L Harle’s track Ashes of Love and features on Charli XCX’s album Pop 2.
Her debut solo album, Pang, received widespread critical acclaim for its captivating production and experimental songwriting, as well as the singer’s distinctly glottal vocal style. Its earworm hit, So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings, went viral on TikTok as fans replicated the music video‘s cowgirl-inspired modern dance.
Her sophomore release, Desire, I Want To Turn Into You secured her spot as one of pop music’s most fascinating figures. Featuring the hit track Bunny Is A Rider as well as other singles including Billions, Welcome To My Island and Sunset, the album brings together a wide-ranging melange of influences – flamenco, medieval aesthetics, hyperpop, Celtic folk and Y2K radio.
The artist has had a dizzying ascent to fame in the years since her solo debut. She has graced the stages of world-renowned festivals from Coachella to Glastonbury, supported Dua Lipa and won over fans across the world. She’s sure to deliver an unforgettable night of music when she comes through this December.
