Buy a pint at these Melbourne live music venues bravely reopening this weekend

Words by Kate Streader

You’d better start making bookings.

With lockdown 4.0 set to lift at 11:59pm tonight, many live music venues around town are gearing up to fling their doors open tomorrow.

While live music venues are still heavily restricted, meaning gigs will be off the table for a little while longer for the majority of small venues, you can still support your favourite spots by heading down for dinner or a few drinks over the weekend.

To help you plan your post-lockdown celebrations, we’ve put together a list of which live music venues will be open this weekend. We suggest booking a spot to avoid disappointment as capacity is limited and Melburnians are all itching for a pint.

Keep up with all the latest music interviews, news and reviews here.

Corner Hotel

No gigs for now, but you can still grab a parma, a pint and watch the game on the big screen at The Corner this weekend.
