Dive deep into the minds of two of Naarm/Melborune’s most exciting emerging musicians, Cool Sounds and Emma Russack. In this RAGE inspired night on March 8, Chelsea King of 3RRR and The Dark Room will interview both artists about their insights and experiences in the music industry, as well as showcase videos that have influenced their work. A free event at The Beast, Hyper Local RAGE promises to be an intimate and engaging exploration of the minds of two talented artists, as they share their passions for music and the community.
FIRST DANCE
On March 9, The Beast will host FIRST DANCE First Nations dance party, which will feature a diverse line-up of established and emerging DJs, including DJ PGZ, Kalyani and Yarra. A huge, free party that’s all about presenting queer, femme, and First Nations narratives through music and movement, FIRST DANCE promises to be a vibrant and energetic night of celebration.
Hot off the back of performing at some of Melbourne’s most iconic venues and festivals, including Sun Cycle, Boiler Room, and a weekly residency at Circus Bar, the unique talents and styles will be on full display at the Brunswick Music Festival.
Both events are free to attend and promise to be incredible experiences that showcase the diversity and talent of Melbourne’s music scene. So mark your calendars, grab your friends, and head down to the Brunswick Music Festival for an unforgettable weekend of music and community across March 8 and 9.
