His recently released debut album, Projections, sees the London-based artist touch on the poignant cycle of cultural appropriation in America. The LP doesn’t just sample music and vocal snatches, but also other sources such as documentaries to create a truly unique soundscape.
Romare will also be appearing at Splendour in the Grass on top of a support slot alongside Bonobo. He’ll be joined by Planete, Shedbug & Rudolf C as well as Cool Anna & Kasun and Funkhouser for the show.
